Brooklyn producer Ghost Puncher returns
with the “Sun Still Rises” E.P on independent
record label Nope Records. Featuring four
experimental neo-classical influenced meditations
reminiscent of classic film noir soundscapes,
and modern composers such as Jóhann Jóhannsson,
Nils Frahm, and Olafur Amalds,
each track takes Ghost Puncher’s melodic approach
to IDM influenced electronic composition, using
lush string lines, crisp and bright symphonic
instruments, further blurring the lines between
the old and the new.
