Golden Girls
Golden Girls was a 3 piece downtempo electronic act based in Melbourne, Australia. Their motto and genre was self described as “post party/no regrets”. Originally formed on the dance floor, they were inspired by endless conversations at late night after-parties about music, drugs, broken relationships and Madonna. What started as a minimalist 2 piece fronted by vocalist Jocelyn Richardson and producer Tim McNeill (Shaquille McNeill), soon evolved into a live 3 piece band with Jake Goldenfein, that harnessed the energy of sexual frustration, comedown music, 90s electronica and drugs.
