Shaquille McNeill
Golden Girls producer Shaquille McNeill branches out from his minimal downbeat dance music productions as solo artist. A veteran of the Melbourne music scene Shaq started his career writing for DIY experimental punk bands such as Duck Duck Chop and Sliverbits, gradually expanding his sonic palette to include a cross pollination of experimental downtempo dance pop music with Golden Girls. His solo project Shaquille McNeill allows him to explore his love of hip hop, wonky bass music, swung broken beats, post punk to and funk all filtered through and electronic haze and emotive melodic works.
